Low Flow Indicator

The Smartflow Low Flow Indicator with Optional Delta-Q Precision Regulator is a reliable flow display solution for use inside critical, restricted cooling paths such as those with bubblers or baffles. The design and materials are based on the proven IceCube™ Flowmeter platform.

Specifications are as follows:

• Flow indication range: 0.3 – 4 LPM (0.08 – 1 GPM)
• Max. operating pressure: 6.9 bar (100 psi)
• Max. operating temperature: 99°C (210°F)
• Threaded connections: brass or reinforced nylon, ¼”, 3/8”, ½” NPT or BSPP
• Optional accessories: temperature gauges, pressure gauges, quick disconnect fittings and Delta-Q® precision flow regulators

This new flow indicator operates at a much lower flow rate than existing mechanical flow meters, economically and reliably solving the problem of unknown cooling conditions inside restricted, critical cooling channels.

Where to use them

Low Flow Indicators are ideal for use in critical injection mold cooling circuits using bubblers or baffles where flow is restricted and effective cooling is essential.The polysulfone viewing window is compatible with common cooling liquids. Wetted parts are made from corrosion-resistant materials in a proven design platform. Optional temperature and pressure gauges can be added as needed for increased functionality and suitability to process requirements
