Fluorofab® Fabrics have a woven fiberglass cloth substrate which has been coated with PTFE. In addition to providing the properties of excellent release, abrasion resistance, low friction and chemical resistance, these fabrics are dimensionally stable from -100°F to +550°F. Because of their non-toxic, odorless and tasteless qualities they have been approved by the FDA for food processing, packaging and handling.
They are also ideally suited for a wide variety of industrial applications such as:
|
Silicone/Glass Fabrics have a woven fiberglass cloth substrate which has been coated on one or both sides with silicone. These fabrics exhibit the strength and tear resistance of fiberglass, as well as, provide excellent release properties. Many adhesive materials that would normally stick to Teflon® will release from our silicone fabrics.
The dielectric strength, resistance to wear and flexing of our silicone fabrics
are high, and their operating temperature range is from -100°F to +500°F.
The silicone coating has a high chemical resistance, which is impervious
to mild alkalies, non-oxidizing acids, most salts, mineral and lubricating oils,
air, moisture and sunlight. The non-toxic, odorless and
tasteless qualities of the coating enable the fabric to be used in many
food handling operations, as well as, many other industrial applications such
as:

Speciality Fabrics To meet specific applications we can offer customized fabrics made by our suppliers which are coated with other substrates such as Kevlar®, Nomex® and laminates with PTFE or silicone to your exact specifications.
Flourofab® Tapes 100 Series Fabricated from PTFE coated woven fiberglass fabric, Fluorofab® tape series provides excellent release properties, high chemical and abrasion resistance and a low-friction surface.
Available in a wide choice of substrate thicknesses with a silicone adhesive for high temperature applications, or an acrylic for stronger bonding at lower temperatures. Some of the typical applications include:
|
Skived PTFE Tapes 110 Series Fabricated from pure unsupported virgin PTFE film, our Skived PTFE tapes provide exceptional electrical properties and exhibit all the characteristics of our Fluorofab® tapes with the added advantage of being very conformable. It stretches easily and is often used to line large molds. Our high temperature silicone adhesive system is used to adhesive-coat this series of tapes. Typical applications include:
|
UHMW Polyolefin Tapes 130 Series are fabricated from an ultra-high molecular weight polyolefin with an aggressive acrylic adhesive system. This series of tapes is much more abrasive and puncture resistant than PTFE, however provide a similar non-stick and low coefficient of friction surface. They are FDA-approved and suitable for applications with temperatures up to 225°F. Typical applications include:
|
High Modulus PTFE Tape 150-2S & 5S Series
are fabricated from pure unsupported virgin PTFE, similar to our Skived
PTFE tapes, except they are much denser and stronger. These tapes are ideally
suited as a high temperature roller wrap during die polyethylene extrusion and
laminating processes. They have excellent electrical properties and are often
used to insulate coils and transformers because of their exceptionally high
dielectric strengths.
Typical applications include:
|
Thermal Spray Tapes Full line of high
performance masking tapes specifically designed to meet the needs of the Thermal
Spray Industry are offered by us. These tapes provide superior mechanical and
thermal protection. Excellent abrasion resistance makes these tapes ideal for
grit blasting and flame metal spray applications.
All our Thermal Spray Tapes are engineered to provide superior tack adhesion and remove cleanly from metal surfaces. These tapes are available in widths from 1/8" to 48", standard roll length is 36 yards. Custom die cut profiles can be manufactured, saving time during masking.
Silicone Coated Fiberglass Tapes 170-10S, 170-10S CL, 170-20S This family of tapes is a high temperature, silicone coated fiberglass tape with a silicone polymer adhesive. Features:
|
Ultramask 170-10S Green Customers choose "Ultramask" to save time and money. Our customers know that no other tape offers the protection they find with our Ultramask 170-10S Green. Ultramask 170-10S Green provides industry leading grit blast protection while thriving in extreme high temperature and high velocity metalizing applications.
Fiberglass Cloth Tapes 160-5S, 160-5S HT, 162-5S, 162-7S, 162-12S These tapes are fabricated from a tightly woven high tensile glass cloth with a high temperature silicone pressure sensitive adhesive, on one or both sides. Features:
|
Aluminum Foil Tapes 190-7S, 190-10S A thin aluminum foil is laminated to our fiberglass tape, making this tape an excellent choice in applications requiring a combination of conformability with high abrasion resistance. Features:
|
Flourafab® Belting,
Fluorofab® fabric is used to fabricate these belts up to 134" wide
in any length. Available in over 70 weights and widths our Fluorofab® belting
has many applications where a superior non-stick surface is essential. The operating
temperature range is from -100°F to +550°F. The non-toxic,
tasteless and odorless qualities of the coating make it appropriate for use
in food handling operations, as well as, other applications such as:
|
Flourofab®
30-89 & 30-89B Belting This open mesh PTFE impregnated fiberglass
belting is available in brown or with a black U.V. block coating in widths up
to 134" and any length. The fluorocarbon resins used in the curing process
are chemically inert, and the woven glass substrate provides exceptional strength
and dimensional stability. Its non-stick surface, operating temperature range
from -100 ºF to +550 ºF and the 70% open area makes this
belting the perfect solution for many drying applications such as:
|
Silicone/Glass Belting Fabricated
out of Silicone/Glass fabric this belting is available in white or red, coated
one or both sides, in widths up to 36" and any length. It provides excellent
release properties, high dielectric strength, wear and flexing resistance and
high chemical resistance. The operating temperature range is from -100°F
to +500°F. The non-toxic, tasteless and odorless
